Job Description

The HR Business Partner provides support to the organization's leaders, employees, and HR team across a broad array of Human Resource topical areas. In particular, the HR Business Partner serves as a subject matter expert for employee and labor relations and performance management and may assist with other areas within Human Resources as needed. Establishes and maintains superior employee and labor-management relations, interprets and abides by collective bargaining agreements, administers grievance and complaint resolution procedures, and assists all levels of management on employee and labor relations matters. May support leadership on-boarding and development within a service excellence program. The HR Business Partner provides coaching and counsel to leaders administering corrective action and ensures consistency throughout the organization. The HR Business Partner helps develop and maintain policies, programs, and processes that support RRMC as the Employer of Choice. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum Work Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in Employee Relations. Two of these years should have been handling Labor Relations / Grievances in a Union Environment. Experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Prior experience HR Generalist desirable. Required Licenses/Certifications HR or SPHR Certification preferred. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to work in a dynamic, diverse, and fast paced environment. Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Excellent organizational skills, written and oral communication and customer service skills, particularly in dealing with stressful personal interactions. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to effectively interact with all levels within organization and external customers/clients/potential employees. Working knowledge of all HR functional areas with an emphasis on EEOC laws and requirements, federal and state employment laws, immigration requirements and ADA required. Expert knowledge of labor relations and a proven track record in rendering expert, consultative advice on labor issues. Microsoft Desktop application skills (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
