Human Resources (HR) Manager

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Kent, Washington. This role involves overseeing HR operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the workforce through day-to-day HR functions. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling employee relations, managing benefits, and maintaining accurate records while fostering a positive workplace environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily HR operations, including onboarding, terminations, and employee record maintenance.
• Address employee relations matters, acting as a trusted resource for staff and management.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and state and federal regulations.
• Support payroll functions by providing necessary reviews and ensuring accuracy.
• Handle workers' compensation claims and other employee-related documentation.
• Assist with recruiting efforts, including prescreening and vetting candidates.
• Maintain and update HRIS systems and employee data.
• Monitor workforce growth and proactively address employee concerns.
• Collaborate with leadership to foster a positive and compliant workplace environment
