$115,000 - $120,000 This range represents the anticipated base salary for the position. Unable to exceed listed range. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors. This role serves as a strategic and operational HR partner to regional leadership, supporting employee relations, labor relations, workforce planning, talent initiatives, compliance, and organizational effectiveness across multiple locations. The position requires a strong field presence and the ability to influence business outcomes in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Position Overview The Regional HR Business Partner will support a geographically dispersed hourly workforce across multiple locations. This role is highly visible within the operation and requires both strategic thinking and day-to-day execution. The HRBP will partner directly with operational leaders to address employee relations matters, labor relations issues, workforce planning, retention, engagement, compliance, and performance management. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting large employee populations and multiple locations simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for assigned locations throughout the region Support a workforce of up to approximately 800 employees across full-time and part-time populations Partner with operational leadership to support business objectives and workforce initiatives Maintain a strong field presence through regular site visits Provide guidance on employee relations, investigations, performance management, corrective action, and policy interpretation Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions Support labor relations activities and interpret collective bargaining agreements where applicable Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor agreements, and company policies Support workforce planning, succession planning, talent acquisition, and organizational design initiatives Coach managers on employee engagement, performance improvement, retention, and leadership effectiveness Analyze turnover, retention, engagement, and workforce trends to identify opportunities and risks Assist with implementation of HR programs, systems, and organizational initiatives Partner with HR leadership on regional projects and strategic initiatives Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR Generalist and/or HR Business Partner experience supporting fast-paced, field-based operations Experience supporting large-scale, multi-site hourly workforce populations Experience within transportation, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, retail, hospitality, aviation, or similar operational environments Proven experience partnering directly with front-line and operational leadership teams Extensive employee relations experience including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective action, policy interpretation, and performance management Experience supporting operations with multiple locations, complex schedules, and changing business priorities Strong analytical capabilities with experience using workforce data and HR metrics to drive business outcomes Experience supporting employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, leave administration, benefits, and HR systems Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned region Required for Consideration Bachelor's degree Union Experience, includes-experience handling grievances, disciplinary processes, labor relations matters, and collective bargaining agreement interpretation 5+ years of HR Generalist or HRBP experience Multi-site workforce support experience Employee relations investigations experience Experience supporting hourly employee populations Experience partnering directly with operational leadership Ability to travel throughout the region Ability to work onsite in South Seattle Representation Notice By submitting to this position, you agree that you will be giving Vaco by Highspring the exclusive right to present your as a candidate for the foregoing employment opportunity.
