This role serves as an essential connection between hotel departments, the union and ultimately our guests, helping to ensure a seamless experience and exceptional guest satisfaction. As an HR Business Partner, you'll collaborate closely with department leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness, enhance employee engagement, navigate labor relations, support operational excellence, and ensure consistent application of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. What You'll Do Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources on all HR matters. Partner with department leaders to ensure compliance of their teams and processes Coach managers on employee relations and leadership best practices. Interpret and administer the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Drive and support grievance resolution and workplace investigations. Guide performance management and progressive discipline. Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and talent development. Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies. Promote employee engagement and positive workplace culture. Analyze workforce trends and recommend strategic HR solutions. Expectations During the first year, the successful candidate should be expected to: Coach every department leader on effective application of the CBA and progressive discipline. Reduce avoidable grievances through proactive manager education and consistent contract interpretation. Conduct thorough workplace investigations with timely documentation and follow-up. Improve leadership capability through regular coaching and training sessions. Increase employee engagement and retention through visible HR presence and relationship building. Use HR metrics (turnover, attendance, corrective actions, time-to-fill, and engagement) to identify trends and recommend solutions. Build collaborative, professional relationships with

Local 8 representatives while maintaining the organization's operational objectives. What We're Looking For Minimum of 4 years of progressive Human Resources experience. At least 2 years supporting a unionized workforce. Strong knowledge of labor relations and Collective Bargaining Agreements. Exceptional employee relations and investigation experience. Hospitality experience strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. SHRM or HRCI certification preferred. Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
