Position:
Human Resource Director (HR Director) As the HR Director at Evansville Manor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing human resources functions specific to the long-term care industry. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of HR, including compensation, benefits administration, OSHA compliance, payroll management, corrective action/disciplines, talent acquisition, and onboarding and orientation processes.
Job description:
The Human Resources Director oversees all aspects of HR practices and processes within the organization. As the primary contact for employee-related matters, this role plays a crucial part in ensuring business success by fostering a productive, positive, and compliant work environment. Responsibilities include managing key HR functions such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and talent management. The HR Director ensures that our people—our greatest asset—are motivated and supported in achieving both personal and organizational goals. Promoting corporate values and cultivating a strong company culture are central to this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business goals Serve as a bridge between management and employees, addressing grievances and other concerns Lead the recruitment and selection process Support current and future business needs by developing and retaining talent Monitor and manage HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization Foster a positive, collaborative work environment Oversee performance management systems that encourage high-performance Maintain compensation plans and benefits programs Identify and address training needs; manage training programs Provide management with HR metrics and decision support Ensure legal compliance across all HR functions
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an HR Director or in a similar HR leadership role Strong people orientation with a results-driven approach Demonstrated experience with HR metrics and data-driven decision-making Proficiency in HR systems and databases Strategic thinking combined with strong leadership skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Ability to build and manage relationships at all organizational levels Deep knowledge of labor law and HR best practices A degree in Human Resources or a related field If you are passionate about creating a positive workplace and driving business success through effective HR management, we encourage you to apply!
