Job Description

Who We Are WWC Engineering is a multi-disciplinary, professional firm who is independent, and employee owned. We specialize in Civil/Site, Environmental, Land Development, Mining, Municipal, NEPA, Oil & Gas, Planning, Roads/Bridges, Surveying, Water/Wastewater and Water Resources services. WWC has over 140 employees and has been serving the Rocky Mountain region since 1980. Position Summary WWC's Human Resources Director and/or Manager will lead the organization's human resources function while supporting the continued growth of the business and our employees. This role is responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with WWC Engineering's business objectives, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment regulations, and fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture. This is both a strategic leadership and operational role. The Human Resources Director and/or Manager will oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition support, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, policy development, training, and organizational development. In addition, this position provides direct leadership, coaching, and oversight to the Human Resources Administrator, ensuring timely and effective delivery of HR services across the organization. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution, build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and managers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field. Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership responsibilities. Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits administration. Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR certification. Experience supporting federal contractors and compliance requirements, including OFCCP and affirmative action programs
