About SeaView SeaView Community Services is a nonprofit behavioral health organization serving the Eastern Kenai Peninsula. Our mission is to strengthen families, foster self-sufficiency, and enhance quality of life through compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services. What You'll Do As the HR Specialist, you will support many of the day-to-day functions that keep our workforce engaged and our Human Resources operations running smoothly, including: Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug testing, credential verification, and new hire documentation. Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files in compliance with federal, state, accreditation, and organizational requirements. Track employee certifications, licenses, mandatory training, and renewal deadlines. Coordinate annual compliance training and continuing education records. Support employee recognition, appreciation, wellness, and engagement initiatives. Assist with planning employee events and recognition programs. Manage employee housing assignments, move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and related documentation. Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and employment processes. Assist with HR reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance. Support recruitment activities as needed. Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve the employee experience. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is: Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented Friendly, approachable, and customer-service focused Able to maintain strict confidentiality Able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong in written and verbal communication Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR information systems Passionate about supporting employees and fostering a positive workplace culture Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Two or more years of Human Resources, administrative, or employee support experience preferred. Experience with personnel records, compliance, credential tracking, or employee relations is highly desirable. Experience in healthcare or nonprofit organizations is a plus. Why Join SeaView?
