Basic Job Functions:
Perform a variety of HR duties and responsibilities while providing guidance and support to teammates in alignment with the Nucor Way. Serve as a resource for HR-related matters and help ensure a positive teammate's experience. Administer payroll and payroll taxes Support benefits administration and enrollment activities Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes Support FMLA and Leave of Absence (LOA) administration Support teammate engagement initiatives and programs Assist with HR audits, compliance activities, and reporting requirements Support HR projects and other departmental initiatives as needed Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a related field or a minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
