Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Truck Driver Recruiter to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a key part in sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified commercial truck drivers to support our growing fleet. Key Responsibilities Source and recruit experienced CDL drivers through job boards, social media, referrals, trucking networks, and cold calling. Screen resumes, conduct phone and in-person interviews, and verify qualifications (CDL, driving records, experience, etc.). Build and maintain a strong pipeline of driver candidates. Coordinate with operations to understand current and future staffing needs. Attend job fairs, trucking events, and industry networking opportunities. Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system. Assist with onboarding and driver retention initiatives. Stay current on industry trends, regulations (FMCSA, DOT), and competitive pay/benefits. Requirements 1+ years of recruiting experience (trucking or transportation industry preferred). Strong understanding of CDL requirements, driver qualifications, and the trucking industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet recruitment targets. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with recruiting platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.). Valid driver's license required; CDL knowledge a big plus. High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred). What We Offer Competitive hourly pay: $18 - $30/hr based on experience.
