How You Contribute to The Team The HR Generalist handles essential day-to-day operations, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, performance management, and employee relations. Build and maintain collaborative work relationships, foster positive employee engagement, and support the implementation of Company initiatives. Perform full cycle recruitment activities to include posting job ads, sourcing candidates, interviewing, extending job offers and coordinating pre-employment screening. Conduct new employee and benefits orientation. Enter employee data, benefit enrollments and status changes in HRIS. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Assist with benefit open enrollment and administer leave of absences and workers' compensation benefits as requested. Provide human resources policy interpretation and guidance on topics such as recruitment, benefits and employee relations. Coordinate employee and community events and recognition programs. Maintain current knowledge of employment laws and regulations to minimize legal risk and ensure organizational compliance. What You Need to
Succeed Required:
Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field. 3-5 years of human resources experience. Strong computer skill proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with HRIS platforms. Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with employees, applicants and external partners. Ability to translate HR information accurately and professionally. Knowledge of human resource principles, best practices and employment law. Demonstrated sound judgement, problem solving, conflict management and decision-making with sensitive and confidential issues. Ability to manage emotions effectively. A high level of attention to detail, organization and follow-through skills.Preferred:
Experience in a manufacturing environment. Human Resources certification (i.e.SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP
). This is an onsite, part-time position (up to 16 hours per week). Team members are paid weekly . The target hourly pay range is $30.00 - $35.00 depending on qualifications, experience, education, and other factors.
