As an HR Generalist at Dollar Tree's Distribution Center, you'll partner with DC leadership and associates to provide comprehensive HR support, facilitate recruitment and retention, and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws. You'll also identify training needs and develop programs to support associate growth and development. Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:HR Operations & Compliance:
Maintain personnel records and HRIS systems (including ProWatch, Oracle, Kronos, and Family Dollar University) Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws Conduct exit interviews and translate findings into actionable recommendations Recommend new HR programs, policies, and approaches to support business successRecruitment & Talent Management:
Identify , assess, and recruit hourly talent to staff the facility Partner with associates and leadership to ensure HR needs are met Assist in administering the performance management process consistently and constructively Conduct new-hire orientations, open enrollment sessions, and leadership or 401k meetingsTraining & Development:
Assess training needs and create/ facilitate HR training programs to enhance associate skill sets Collaborate with centers of expertise to design appropriate interventions Support associate engagement and retention initiativesCross-Functional Support:
Represent HR and the DC on cross-functional projects, programs, and process improvements Provide general HR support as assigned, including project work and special initiativesYour Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience Two or more years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a retail or distribution environment Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills Knowledge of state and federal employment laws Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to build effective relationships with business partners and associates Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Preferred Requirements:
