Job Description

What You'll Do — Across All BUs Take ownership of a defined project or workstream from day one, with clear deliverables and a stakeholder you'll report progress to. Contribute to real team output — your work ships, gets reviewed, and goes into production, marketing campaigns, design systems, or business decisions used by Newegg leaders. Attend team meetings, planning sessions, and cross-functional reviews as a full participant — not as an observer. Receive structured feedback from your manager and mentor on a regular cadence, with a mid-point and end-of-program review. Build a portfolio of work you can point to in future interviews — including projects with measurable business impact. What Success Looks Like — First 90 Days Completed onboarding, met your team, and understand how your BU contributes to Newegg overall. Scoped, kicked off, and made meaningful progress on your primary project, with a clear stakeholder owning the outcome. Built relationships with at least 3 cross-functional partners outside your immediate team. Received your first structured feedback review and have a clear development focus for the remainder of the program. What We're Looking For Required Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program with a graduation date in or before December 2026, OR a recent graduate (within the last 12 months) from a Bachelor's or Master's program. Strong academic foundation in a field relevant to one or more of our BUs (Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing, Communications, Design, HCI, Business, Economics, Operations, or similar). Able to work on-site in Diamond Bar, CA for the full duration of the program. Strong written and verbal communication — comfortable asking questions, sharing updates, and giving and receiving feedback. Coachable, organized, and reliable. You take ownership of what's on your plate and follow through. Preferred Prior internship, part-time role, club leadership, capstone, or personal project relevant to your target BU. Demonstrated curiosity about e-commerce, retail, technology, or consumer brands. Experience working in a team setting where you had to coordinate with people outside your immediate group. Newegg is launching an Early Career Talent Program for the 2026 graduating class — a dedicated pathway for new and soon-to-be graduates to join Newegg in full-time hands-on roles across our Tech, Marketing, Design, and Business teams. This is not a passive learning rotation. You will be embedded in a real team, working on real projects, with real ownership from day one.
Notice:
this is a 3-month temp to hire position with potential to extend. Newegg's strongest performers tend to share one thing in common: they joined early in their careers, took ownership of real problems, and grew into broader scope over time. This program is how we plan to keep building that bench. If you join, you should expect to be treated as a member of the team — not a guest. You'll be invited to team meetings, given a project you'll be accountable for, paired with a mentor, and reviewed on the same kinds of outcomes (just calibrated to experience level) that we use for full-time staff. Candidates apply to the program broadly; final BU placement is determined during the interview process based on your background, interests, and current team needs. You'll be matched to one of the following four business units: Business Unit Focus Area Sample Projects & Skills You'll Develop Tech Engineering, AI/ML, Data & Platform Build internal tools, contribute to e-commerce platform features, support data pipelines, prototype AI-powered workflows, work alongside engineers on real production systems.
