Job Description
Our client, an automotive parts manufacturing company, is looking for an HR Generalist
•Payroll & Benefits to join their team in Fremont, CA . In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and compliant administration of payroll, benefits, HRIS, and employee records while providing comprehensive HR support across the organization in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and in compliance with applicable legal and company requirements Lead the maintenance and administration of the HRIS system ensuring employee information is complete, accurate, and current Audit payroll records, timekeeping information, and payroll-related transactions; review and reconcile Time & Attendance discrepancies Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, disability, and retirement plans; process enrollments, changes, and terminations within required deadlines Coordinate with benefits providers, brokers, and payroll vendors to resolve employee issues and support annual open enrollment Perform payroll and benefits audits and reconciliations and provide related reports to HR, Operations, Finance, and Accounting Track and follow up on employee performance evaluations and maintain accurate records of completed reviews and related actions Prepare HR reports and workforce metrics including headcount, attendance, turnover, overtime, and labor costs; monitor KPIs and identify trends Maintain accurate, confidential, and audit-ready employee personnel records and support internal and external compliance audits Support employee communications, training documentation, compliance activities, and HR continuous improvement initiatives Provide day-to-day HR department support, cover for the HR Business Partner when needed, and partner with Operations to support the site's 24/7 workforce Perform other HR-related duties and assignments based on organizational needs
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, payroll administration, benefits administration, or HRIS required Experience supporting a manufacturing, warehouse, or 24/7 hourly workforce preferred Strong understanding of payroll processes, benefits administration, HR practices, and applicable employment laws Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and HR reporting tools Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
Pay & Schedule:
Salary:
$80,000
•$95,000 per year (based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM
•5:00
PM Pay:
$80,000.00
•$95,000.00 per year
