About the Role We're looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support our growing, multi-state organization. This role is hands-on and works closely with our CHRO and community leadership on employee relations, benefits, payroll, and compliance. If you enjoy variety and want exposure to all areas of HR, this is a great opportunity to grow. What You'll Do Support employee relations, investigations, and manager coaching Administer benefits (ICHRA, 401k) and assist with renewals and underwriting Manage and track workers' compensation claims and support return-to-work Oversee leave of absence programs (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA) Partner with payroll and serve as backup for payroll processing Lead training for directors on HR practices and compliance Support onboarding, HR processes, and multi-state compliance

Requirements:

What You Bring 5+ years of HR experience Strong knowledge of California labor laws and leave management Experience with benefits, workers' comp, and payroll coordination Strong communication and problem-solving skills HRIS experience (Paylocity a plus)
