Job Description

Job Overview The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for administering and supporting a wide range of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll coordination, compliance, training, safety programs, and employee engagement initiatives. This position serves as a key resource for employees and managers and helps ensure HR practices comply with company policies and applicable employment laws. Responsibilities Administer and support a wide range of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll coordination, leave administration, compliance, safety programs, training, and employee engagement initiatives. Manage full-cycle recruiting activities for exempt, non-exempt, temporary, and contract positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding employees. Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers by guiding company policies, procedures, benefits, and employment-related matters. Assist with employee relations matters, performance management, workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and employee development initiatives. Coordinate and administer employee benefit programs, leave of absence programs, and annual open enrollment activities. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain accurate HR records, personnel files, and required documentation. Process and review payroll and timekeeping information to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Develop, update, and communicate HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and related programs. Coordinate safety initiatives, compliance training, employee development programs, and required regulatory training. Support workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee retention initiatives. Coordinate employee recognition programs, company events, team-building activities, and other employee engagement efforts. Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business documents while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, procedures, and operational efficiency. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Job Qualifications Minimum Experience:
Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience.
Preferred Education:
Associate's Degree Combined experience/education as a substitute for minimum education Experience in recruiting, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and compliance. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Problem Solving

Pay:
$75,000.00
