Information Technology Full Job Description Position Summary:
Onsite contract position | Office location: Newport Beach, CA Optimize HR system (SuccessFactors) and ensure data integrity. Supports the full lifecycle of system maintenance, including configuration, testing system changes, and supporting upgrades and patches. Perform advanced report writing and data flow analysis to identify process improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
System Enhancement and Configuration Consults with HR and business leaders on improvement ideas and recommends new innovations. Collaborates with IT, Payroll, and other departments on project initiatives. Documents requirements, processes, solution recommendations, test plans, and change management impacts. Analyzes, designs, configures, and tests systems using formal system methodologies and coordinates changes across test and production systems. Creates project plans and manages the deliverables on time using formal tracking logs with timely status updates. Collaborates with outside consultants. Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Trains clients on new processes/functionality and trains new system users.
Analytics / Reports
Delivery Defines and develops standard HR metrics. Design metrics that answer relevant business questions and present them to stakeholders in an easy-to-understand dashboard format. Configures and maintains reporting and analytical tools. Fulfills complex ad hoc report requests and produces recurring analytical reports. Customer and system support. Troubleshoot employee data and system issues; identify opportunities for improvement. Manages mass data change and conversion requests. Monitors and troubleshoots integration issues within SuccessFactors and other systems.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, human resources, business administration, or related field.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience designing, configuring, and testing HR systems with strong experience utilizing software development methodologies. 3+ years of experience configuring SuccessFactors modules. Deep knowledge of HR business processes and data needs. Knowledge of reporting tools and experience delivering complex reports to stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, process-driven. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a complex environment.
