Job Description

Overview:
Garner Holt Productions, Inc. is one of the world's leading animatronics manufacturers. We are seeking an upbeat and detail-oriented H/R Generalist to work on site at our offices in Redlands, CA. The role will be centered around onboarding new hires and maintaining employee records in compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
Post jobs, screen resumes, and schedule interviews. Guide new hires through onboarding, paperwork, orientations, and company introductions.
H/R Administration and Compliance:
Administer compensation and benefits plans, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. Coordinate with outsourced H/R Business Advisor to guide managers on performance reviews and disciplinary actions. Maintain detailed records of all workers' compensation claims, including injury reports, medical records, and correspondence with insurance providers. Coordinate safety training and maintain OSHA and workers' compensation compliance documentation. Assist with insurance enrollment and employee inquiries regarding time tracking, compensation, retirement benefits, compensation, and employment laws. Other H/R responsibilities, as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources is desirable. Professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CPA) are highly desirable. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role or equivalent. In-depth understanding of labor laws and HR best practices. Proficiency in HRIS systems. Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
