CLIENT PARTNER PROFILE & VALUE PROPOSITION
LEAPROS has partnered with an industry leader in Riverside County to fill an exciting role in the HR Department. Position is 100% onsite and is contract-to-hire.
POSITION TITLE
HR Generalist
POSITION SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will have be bilingual English/Spanish and have at least two years of HR experience. We are looking for a quick learner who enjoys working with an HR team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts new employee onboarding and orientations including preparing offer letters and new hire packages, notifications to IT, and implementation in payroll system. Assists in the processing of weekly payroll for assigned location. Responsible for tracking of field timecard and electronic timekeeping, troubleshoots errors. Audit weekly timecards and payroll checks for accuracy and troubleshoot errors as identified. Track and update PTO and sick accruals in system. Administers and tracks all garnishment/levies in accordance with state law and local county guidelines. Administers EDD Claims, EDD Benefits Audits, and logs appropriately. Assists with Workers Comp claims.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or Psychology preferred. 3+ years HR experience, leave of absence, benefits administration, WC, payroll, and recruitment. Ability to read, write, and speak in Spanish is required. Knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and other related Federal & State laws required. Computer proficient with HRIS experience. Intermediate Excel skills are required, as are skills with all Microsoft Office programs. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive questions and complaints. Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality. Must be able to use critical thinking to effectively solve human resource issues. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize. Self-motivated and follows direction of supervisors, but also able to work without constant direct supervision. Excellent verbal/ written communications skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex content and documents.
PAY TRANSPARENCY
A reasonable estimate of the available {annual or hourly} pay scale for this position is: $25-33/hr. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties and is determined by the hiring authority.
