Who We Are Robert Half, one of FORTUNE's World's Most Admired Companies and a Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For is hiring an HR Project Manager (Contract Talent) to join the HR CMO and PM team. We are looking for an individual with systems testing experience to lead delivery of high-priority, technical HR initiatives. This role drives end-to-end project execution—from planning and requirements through testing, deployment, and post-implementation—ensuring successful delivery and adoption of HR solutions. What You'll Do Lead medium to large-scale global HR projects; Define scope, plan, and manage all phases of delivery including requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, and stabilization. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and reporting; proactively manage scope and change. Act as Test Lead for larger scale projects; establish a test plan detailing approach, ensure test cases are created, loaded and monitored throughout the testing lifecycle. Establish governance and communication strategies to keep stakeholders aligned on status, risks, and deliverables. Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify resources, resolve issues, and drive decisions. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes. Implementation & Delivery Oversee all project activities including analysis, development, testing, training, and deployment. Monitor implementation progress, drive issue resolution, and continuously optimize delivery plans. Testing Leadership Serve as Test Lead, establishing test strategy, plans, and calendars across all phases. Manage testing approach, ensuring full traceability to requirements and effective defect resolution. Ensure quality of test cases, data preparation, execution, and defect management. Utilize tools such as qTest and Jira to track requirements, testing progress, and defects. Deployment & Continuous Improvement Lead deployment planning and execution, ensuring production readiness. Manage post-implementation activities, including lessons learned and adoption. Contribute to PMO methodology enhancements. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree (Business, HR, or related field) or equivalent experience. 5-10 years of project/program management and testing experience. Strong expertise in project planning, execution, and test management. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools; experience with qTest and/or Jira preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomes. PMP certification and Workday experience preferred. The typical hourly pay rate for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. $39.42 - $57.21 Benefits are available to contract/temporary professionals, including medical, vision, and dental, and life and disability insurance.
