As a Workforce Management Specialist, you'll be at the heart of keeping our park running smoothly by overseeing all aspects of scheduling and Workforce Management. You'll be the go-to expert on our workforce management systems, ensuring our scheduling process is efficient; staffing levels align with operational needs, and labor reporting is on point—all while balancing guest service and profitability. Beyond the numbers, you'll provide leadership, training, and guidance to the workforce management team, driving an exceptional experience for both guests and team members. Assisting the Management Team with strategic planning, fiscal and labor management, and other key aspects, your impact will help keep the fun rolling all season long! This is a part-time opportunity with an expected workload of 30-40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Forecasting and Capacity Planning:
Analyze historical data to predict future staffing requirements based on business demands, seasonal fluctuations, and market trends. Develop and maintain accurate forecasting models to inform staffing decisions. Create capacity plans to ensure adequate staffing levels across different operational areas.
Scheduling and Optimization:
Create and implement employee schedules that align with forecasted demand while considering employee availability, skills, and labor cost constraints. Manage time-off requests, leave of absence, and scheduling exceptions. Monitor real-time adherence to schedules and adjust as needed to maintain service levels.
System Administration:
Proficiently use workforce management software to manage schedules, track employee data, and generate reports. Stay updated on system upgrades and functionalities to optimize usage.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing requirements and address operational challenges. Communicate scheduling updates and changes effectively to employees. Partner with HR to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Qualifications:
What You Need:
Experience in forecasting, scheduling, and capacity planning. Expertise in workforce management software applications. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and time management skills. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Other Notes:
