We are seeking a collaborative and analytical Human Resources Analyst II to help deliver high-quality HR programs and services that directly support our District's people and purpose. This journey-level role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the full spectrum of public sector HR. What You'll Do Lead and support end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, including exams, assessments, and eligibility lists Conduct classification studies, job audits, and compensation surveys; analyze data and make recommendations Administer and manage employee leave programs (FMLA, CFRA, Pregnancy Disability Leave, Workers' Compensation) Advise management and staff on employee relations, performance issues, and HR policies Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and vendor coordination Partner with payroll and accounting on personnel and salary actions Conduct HR studies, develop policies, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in HR, business/public administration, or a related field Three (3) years of professional HR generalist experience in areas such as recruitment, classification, compensation, employee relations, or benefits Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, and labor agreements HR Certification (SHRM or PSHRA) and public sector HR experience is highly desirable Why Join Us?
