Job Summary:
The HR Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource department including the data processing functions for Human Resource Services (HRS), supporting the new hires, employee personal file, while enforcing company policies and practices. The position requires 100% data entry integrity and compliance with all contracted programs; including, but not limited to, Federal, State and internal operating policies and procedures. Summary of essential job functions Data Entry Responsible to enter and maintain all data operating systems including but not limited to Paylocity, Guardian, and Child Plus. Ensure data integrity and compliance with all governing Federal, State local and internal regulations, and policies and procedures. Support Director of HR in preparing data reports, analyzing data for trends, and presenting findings to senior leadership. Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory trainings, such as education, licensing required documents, and other necessary employee information. Maintains employee personnel files, process employee status changes, and keeps employee records up-to-date. Maintains company electronic inventory and Employee Company Property Tracking System.
Human Resources:
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Support new hire on-boarding orientation process. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, while referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. May assist Recruiting Manager with staffing, recruiting, and other related functions.
Clerical:
Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 1 year of Human Resource experiences required. 2 years of data entry experiences required. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficient with or have the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and employee management software Physical Requirements Ability to work at various locations, as needed. Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods to support community engagement events both inside and outside a building. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds to support with movement of materials and supplies. Ability to bend and squat in order to interact with children at community engagement and center events. Ability to see to work on computer equipment or work with an appropriate accommodation.
