Job Description
We are looking for a bilingual Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Wasco, California. This position focuses on benefits administration, leave coordination, and day-to-day HR support, with an emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and responsive service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable guiding employees through benefit and leave processes while maintaining organized records and clear communication in both English and Spanish.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee employee leave cases from intake through resolution, including documentation, tracking, follow-up, and communication with employees and supervisors.
- Administer benefit programs by processing enrollments, status changes, qualifying life events, and separation-related updates in a timely manner.
- Partner with insurance providers, third-party administrators, and payroll contacts to resolve benefit and leave issues and ensure accurate records.
- Maintain HR files and departmental records with a high level of confidentiality while supporting compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
- Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, leave options, and related HR procedures in both English and Spanish.
- Prepare reports, assist with audits, and support policy communication to help the HR team maintain accurate documentation and regulatory readiness.
- Contribute to onboarding and orientation activities, including scheduling, document collection, and employee support during the hiring process.
