Our mission is helping individuals with disabilities remain in their home by maintaining a strong caregiver workforce. We are growing and looking for a dedicated team member to manage the full lifecycle of our caregiver staff. Position Overview The Caregiver Operations & HR Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for all caregiver-related functions at Mila Home Care. This role owns the full caregiver employment experience — from recruitment and onboarding through ongoing compliance, HR matters, and recognition programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-focused, and comfortable working within Medicaid regulatory frameworks. Key Responsibilities Caregiver Communication & Relations Serve as the primary point of contact for all caregiver inquiries, concerns, and communications Manage and document caregiver HR complaints through appropriate resolution channels Oversee Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) issues and provide caregiver guidance on compliance Coordinate caregiver identification documentation and maintain accurate employee files Hiring, Onboarding & Offboarding Lead full-cycle caregiver recruitment including job postings, interviews, offers, and hiring decisions Conduct caregiver training and oversee caregiver first shift Manage caregiver separations and terminations in compliance with agency policies and Colorado employment law Execute the complete onboarding process: distribute new hire paperwork, coordinate orientation, and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time Conduct and review background checks and OIG exclusion screenings for all new and existing caregivers Maintain vaccine tracking records for all caregiver staff per agency and program requirements Compliance & Quality Management Prepare and submit critical incident reports (CIRs) related to caregiver conduct and workplace events in accordance with state Medicaid requirements Manage the caregiver-related components of the agency's Quality Management Program (QMP), tracking trends and supporting corrective action plans Ensure ongoing maintenance of caregiver files through scheduled audits of certifications, trainings, and other needed caregiver documentation Caregiver Engagement & Retention Design, coordinate, and manage caregiver incentive and recognition programs to support retention and morale Identify patterns in caregiver feedback and attrition to inform program improvements Scheduling Manage caregiver schedule changes and ensure appropriate shift coverage as needed Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience in HR, staffing, workforce coordination, or a related role Knowledge of EVV systems and Medicaid compliance expectations Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle sensitive HR matters with professionalism and confidentiality Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Preferred Experience working in a home care, home health, or other Medicaid-funded service settings Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus What We Offer Starting Pay (90-day probation): $25/hour After 90 days: $28-$30/hour (based on performance) Health benefits after 90 days
