Responsibilities:
Recruit, interview, and hire CNAs, HHAs, Homemakers, and Companion Caregivers Conduct new hire orientation and employee onboarding Review and explain the Employee Handbook, company policies, and workplace expectations Maintain AHCA-compliant employee personnel files Track caregiver licenses, certifications, CPR, annual in-services, TB screenings, background screenings, driver's licenses, and auto insurance Verify licenses and certifications through the Florida Department of Health Ensure caregivers remain compliant before accepting assignments Maintain confidential employee records Conduct personnel file audits and prepare for AHCA surveys Support employee relations, coaching, and performance documentation Assist with HR projects and office operations as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience in home care, home health, hospice, or healthcare Knowledge of Florida AHCA regulations and caregiver credentialing Experience recruiting and interviewing caregivers Strong organizational and communication skills Excellent attention to detail Proficiency with
Microsoft Office Preferred:
Experience with home care software (AxisCare, WellSky, or similar) SHRM or PHR certification Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
