This role serves as the primary brand ambassador for prospective candidates, managing high-volume candidate sourcing, conducting initial phone screens, and hosting virtual video interviews via Google Meet. The Recruiting Specialist acts as a critical gatekeeper, screening for high-volume sales drive and required licensing, and seamlessly handing off qualified candidates to the Recruiting Manager for final in-person interviews. Key Responsibilities & Core Duties High-Volume Sourcing & Outreach Source, review, and evaluate inbound applications from active job boards, social media channels, and local pipelines. Rapidly respond to prospective candidates to maintain a high-speed hiring pipeline in a competitive market. Initial Phone Screening Conduct high-volume, structured phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, communication skills, licensing status, and alignment with our base + commission/W2 model. Pitch the agency's value proposition (free exclusive leads, W2 stability, structured training) to active licensees. Virtual Interviews (Google Meet) Schedule and lead structured virtual video interviews via Google Meet for candidates who pass the initial phone screen. Evaluate candidate professionalism, camera presence, drive, and cultural fit for a fast-paced sales environment. Handoff & In-Person Scheduling Coordinate closely with the Recruiting Manager's calendar to seamlessly transition qualified, vetted candidates into the final in-person interview stage at our Hollywood, FL office. Track candidate progression through the pipeline and ensure automated confirmations and reminders are sent. Pipeline Tracking & Administration Maintain clean, up-to-date data tracking within the internal applicant tracking system (ATS) or CRM, logging candidate notes, statuses, and scheduling metrics daily.
Qualifications & Competencies Experience:
1-3 years of experience in recruitment, high-volume talent acquisition, inside sales, or human resources (insurance or high-volume call center recruiting preferred).
Communication Skills:
Exceptional verbal communication skills with high energy, confidence on the phone, and a polished virtual presence via video.
Organizational Skills:
Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage heavy scheduling coordination across multiple calendars without drop-off.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency with Google Workspace (specifically Google Meet and Calendar), applicant tracking systems, and digital communication tools.
Resilience & Urgency:
Highly motivated, fast-paced mindset comfortable operating in an environment where speed-to-contact is critical to closing talent.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Environment:
Fast-paced, professional corporate office environment in Hollywood, FL.
Schedule:
Standard full-time business hours; must be able to work on-site daily.
Physical Demands:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, operating a computer, and communicating extensively via phone and video conferencing.
