Are you passionate about creating exceptional first impressions and helping new employees feel confident from day one? We are looking for a highly organized, people-focused New Hire Onboarding Specialist to create a welcoming, efficient, and engaging experience for every new team member from offer acceptance through onboarding and beyond. In this role, you will serve as a key connector across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, IT, Fleet, hiring managers, and new hires to ensure every employee starts their career feeling prepared, informed, and excited. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, improving processes, and driving meaningful change. The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 4 years of onboarding, recruiting, HR, or employee experience-related expertise and be eager to contribute innovative ideas that enhance the overall onboarding experience. Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding process, ensuring all required documentation, employment screenings, training requirements, and new hire activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, IT, Fleet, hiring managers, and other internal teams to deliver a seamless and engaging onboarding experience.
- Monitor onboarding progress and proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact a new hire's start date or overall experience.
- Communicate onboarding status updates and provide timely information to recruiters, hiring managers, and key stakeholders.
- Support new hire orientation programs, training coordination, attendance tracking, and initiatives designed to help employees feel connected and prepared from day one.
- Assist with career fairs, recruiting events, and special projects that support organizational hiring goals and strengthen the candidate-to-employee experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and recommend solutions that increase efficiency, consistency, compliance, and employee engagement.
- Maintain accurate records and handle onboarding activities with professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Qualifications Required Qualifications
- 3 to 4 years of experience in onboarding, human resources, recruiting, employee experience, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain processes, build relationships, and create a positive experience for employees and internal partners.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or visa transfer.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HRIS systems, onboarding platforms, applicant tracking systems, or related HR technology.
- Experience supporting employee onboarding, orientation programs, training coordination, or employee engagement initiatives.
