Within the spirit of Making People s Dreams Come True , this position is responsible for applying basic principles of entertaining radio announcing. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers. Part Time, Onsite Position Located in
Lake Sumter Landing Responsibilities:
Lead a focus such as production or music/programming. Exhibit significant understanding of radio, programming, traffic, production, sales, and presentation. Record or voice advertising messages as requested. Offer industry-based practices and feedback to the leadership team. Read or ad-lib to identify stations, introduce, and close shows, music/songs and announce station breaks, commercials, or public service information in an entertaining, positive, energetic manner as appropriate. Cue workers to transmit programs from network central station or other pick-up points according to schedule. Read news flashes to keep the audience informed of important events. Announce appropriate news and information gleaned from a variety of sources. Describe public events, such as parades or shows. Conduct clear and insightful interviews with guests, such as sports or other public personalities, and moderate panels or discussion shows to entertain audiences. Keep daily program logs. Operate control console. All other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four (4) year college or university; or seven (7) to ten (10) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
