Job Description

Human Resources GeneralistPosition Overview We are partnering with a growing organization to identify an experienced Human Resources Generalist who enjoys balancing employee-facing support with day-to-day HR operations. This individual will play a key role in supporting employees throughout the entire employment lifecycle while helping maintain efficient HR processes, compliance initiatives, and employee engagement programs. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in HR administration, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and has the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization. Key Responsibilities

+ Administer and maintain employee records and HR information systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.

+ Support employee relations matters, performance management activities, and various HR initiatives.

+ Coordinate onboarding activities, including new hire documentation and orientation programs.

+ Conduct exit interviews and assist with employee recognition and engagement efforts.

+ Prepare regulatory reporting and maintain required employment-related records.

+ Assist with workers' compensation and company vehicle incident documentation and coordination.

+ Support benefits administration activities and serve as a resource for employee inquiries as needed.

+ Manage background screening processes and required employment verifications.

+ Assist with HR-related purchasing requests, invoices, and departmental administrative functions.

+ Coordinate internal and external job postings and support recruiting activities.

+ Represent the organization at career fairs, community events, and talent acquisition initiatives.

+ Partner with hiring managers and recruiting teams throughout the hiring process.

+ Maintain inventory and distribution of onboarding materials and employee welcome resources.

+ Perform additional HR and administrative duties in support of the department. Qualifications + 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a Generalist capacity.

+ Strong experience maintaining HRIS data and employee records.

+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

+ Experience supporting employee relations and performance management initiatives.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across the organization. Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

+ SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.

+ Experience supporting employees within engineering, manufacturing, construction, or other technical environments is a plus. + background working within a mid-sized corporate organization preferred. Work Environment

+ Fully onsite position.

+ Monday-Friday schedule.

+ Standard business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
