Employee Relations Intake Specialist - Human Resources (Days) Carrollton, GA Professional 26-584 mail_outline Get future jobs matching this search Login orRegister Job Description The Human Resources Intake Specialist functions as a resource for employees and leadership and initiates the process to ensure employee relations issues are handled timely and prioritized accurately in accordance with standard criteria. This position functions as an integral part of the Employee Relations team to help encourage an environment of open communication and engagement that enables employees and managers to work together to achieve Tanner's mission. Required Knowledge & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures. Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of human resources experience, preferably in Employee Relations role.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
  • General knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to think critically and make clear, well-reasoned and timely decisions. Strong problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals or groups from diverse backgrounds at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, required. Must be diplomatic, tactful and possess the ability to listen and deescalate during emotional employment situations
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must exhibit strong professional ethics and confidentiality at all times and present a professional image.
