Job Description
National Blood Testing Partners is seeking an HR Generalist for our donor testing laboratory in Stone Mountain, GA. The Human Resources Generalist serves as a strategic and operational partner in delivering comprehensive HR services for NBTP. This position supports the organization by administering and enhancing programs in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compliance, management development, training, and workforce planning. The Human Resources Generalist exercises independent judgment, ensures regulatory compliance, interprets applicable laws and regulations, and promotes a positive, service-oriented workplace culture aligned with the organization's mission and values. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human resources, excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, along with being a strategic thinker. Will Do:
In partnership with the HR Director, actively support and guide managers through the Employee Relations process, ensuring fairness and legal compliance in all actions. Provide counseling and direction to employees, facilitate communication, and help to resolve conflicts that impact employee engagement. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of applicable laws and regulations including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and other federal, state, and local employment regulations. Oversee the functionality and accuracy of timekeeping systems and HRIS platforms. Administer and manage leave of absence program to include processing leave request, tracking eligibility, and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with applicable laws and company policies. Assist with the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance.Manage full-cycle recruiting process:
job postings, screening, scheduling, interviewing coordination, offers, and employment verifications. Manage offboarding process to include separation, exit interviews and data analysis and make recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement. Assist in the facilitation of the performance management process, providing guidance, and training for managers and employees. Assist in the communication and delivery of employee recognition processes and events. Maintain employee data and transactions in alignment with HRIS workflows; ensure audit-readiness for all employment records and logs. Assist in the tracking, reporting, and trends of the employee attendance program. Ability to support 24/7 laboratory operations with occasional evening meetings and organizational support may be required.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or business related field. Three to five years of progressive human resources experience required. Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-CP) and/or (PHR) preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Demonstrated knowledge & proficiency with HRIS systems. Ability to improve the execution of HR delivery through the analysis of trends and metrics. Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills required. Sound knowledge of employment regulations a must.Other Relevant Information:
Will be required to comply with governmental regulations and strictly observe privacy and security related policies, procedures and practices to preserve the integrity and confidentiality of medical and other sensitive information pertaining to donors, patients, research subjects, and staff. Will be required to enter areas where other individuals work with human blood; potential may exist for unanticipated exposure to bloodborne pathogens by splash or spill.Pay:
