On-site- The Impact You'll Make
- The HR People Partner acts as the sparring partner & first point of contact for Team Leaders and Managers within the Ames campus.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with Managers and Team Leaders within the campus on all aspects of the employee life-cycle in support of the Danfoss HR Strategy
- Take lead in the resolution of employee relation issues and investigations
- Coordinate and support local recruiting & talent engagement events
- Partner closely with local universities to develop talent pipeline
- Develop partnerships with local high schools & institutions to further develop the operations pipeline
- Lead various campus projects and participate in regional and global projects in support of the HR strategy
- Coordinate and present New Employee Orientation in partnership with other local People Partners and site leaders
- Communicate timely HR related topics to site employees using appropriate communication methods
- Field employee HR, Payroll, & Benefit related questions and redirect to appropriate Partners or CoE's as necessary.
- Manage HR shared inbox and phone line to provide timely responses or escalations
- Receive, distribute, & send HR department mail as necessary
- Manage employee personnel and medical files by creating, displacing, or adding documents as necessary to comply with record retention requirements
- Work closely with third party leave of absence administrators and COE's to track, communicate, and coordinate all aspects of employee leave of absence programs
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in sensitive situations and employee data
- Escalate issues or situations to Sr. Manager as appropriate
- Other tasks as assigned

Personal Characteristics:
- Strong interpersonal coaching and communication skills
- Able to collaborate effectively across all levels
- Adept at facilitating virtual and face-to-face interactions & known for a trustworthy, direct approach
- Proactive, out-of-the box thinker who excels at challenging the status quo
Required Experience:
- Bachelors degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of HR related experience
- Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite
- Full English proficiency
Preferred Experience:
- 3+ years of HR related experience within Manufacturing
