Job Description

People Operations Generalist Position Summary:
The People Operations Generalist serves as a trusted advisor and business partner with the Shop Leadership Team in planning, development, implementation and evaluation of HR plants to support business goals while maintaining a strong employee ownership culture. This role will coach and advise all levels of employees, so they are fully capable and accountable to own, improve and accelerate business results and culture.
Responsibilities:
Lead the establishment and implementation of HR programs, particularly in the areas of employee engagement, employee development, wellness, recruiting/selection and training. Continuously optimize our work environment to ensure a safe, engaged and productive employee base. Promotes a cooperative and harmonious environment that facilitates positive employee morale, productivity, and continued improvement Provides education and assistance to supervisors regarding timekeeping questions, including various forms of employee leave (vacation, FMLA, short term disability, etc.) Leads the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, assisting at onsite and offsite hiring events or career fairs, and managing offer letters. Supervise the coordination and facilitation of new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Help organize employee events and recognition programs to foster a positive company culture.
Position Requirements:
Experience in recruitment/selection, positive employee relations, employee engagement, and learning/development. Ability to balance the needs of employee with the needs of the business. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or related studies. 2+ years HR Generalist experience. Prior experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.

Summary of Pay and Benefits:
Salary range consists of base pay and most recent profit sharing bonus amounts. Medical, vision, and dental insurance. Employee stock ownership program - we are an employee-owned company.
