HR Intern (Fall 2026) — Normal, IL $16.00 - $18.00/hour. In-office internship, October through December 2026, with paid time off, mentorship, and a path to full-time opportunities with a 100+ store group. We're looking for an HR Intern to support our Human Resources team while gaining hands-on experience in core HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, personnel records, payroll support, and benefits administration. This is for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and interested in building a career in Human Resources. What you'll own Employee Lifecycle Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes. Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy. Payroll & Benefits Support payroll preparation. Assist with benefits administration. HR Team Support Complete general HR administrative projects and provide support to the HR team as needed. Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned. What you need 18 or older Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Basic understanding of accounting principles and HR practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Prior internship or relevant coursework in accounting or HR is a plus Familiarity with accounting software or HRIS systems is a plus Pay and benefits $16.00 - $18.00/hour Hands-on experience in HR functions Mentorship and professional development opportunities Flexible work schedule Opportunity for future full-time employment Paid Time Off Where this goes This internship runs September through December 2026, with potential for extension or future full-time opportunities based on performance.
