Job Description

MAJOR DUTIES
The Recruiting and Training and Development Specialist will create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development programs for employees. Develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Completed 90-day orientation. Conduct the career development and internal recruiting efforts within the organization. Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives. Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers. Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers' specific needs to maintain or improve job skills. Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials. Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats, including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos. Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements. Assess training materials and update/maintain as necessary. Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback. Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development. Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses. Performs other related duties as required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods. Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives. Ability to design and implement effective training and development. Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related programs software. Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process. Collaborates with department managers to identify open positions. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Assists with job posting and advertisement processes. Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Assists with the interview process. Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM High school diploma/GED Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience in personnel management. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must be able to lift 15 pounds. Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods. Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company. Demonstrate willingness to accept supervision. A negative TB screening dated before the employee providing services for all employees/agents, including administrative and clerical staff. Demonstrate the ability to communicate adequately to: - Complete required forms; and - Follow oral or written instructions Must possess a valid driver's license. Must meet all agency requirements for pre-employment as required by Arrow and/or State regulations. Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company. Must be available Monday-Friday during office hours. Must be able to successfully fulfill the job responsibilities listed above. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must become certified as a First Aid/CPR Instructor Must meet all agency requirements for pre-employment as required by Arrow and/or state regulations.

Employee Relations Specialist/HR Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm
