Job Description
About The Role:
As a CBRE People Business Partner/Employee Relations Specialist, you will physically be located at a training center on site to primarily manage employee relations issues for a non-exempt temporary employee population. You will also assist with the roll-out and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures. This job is part of the People Strategy and Operations function. They are responsible for the design, execution, and monitoring of human resource programs and policies.What You'll Do:
Handle conflict resolution and employee relations for a non-exempt temporary work force and ensure consistent application of policies and practices. Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and assist with issuing disciplinary action and performance improvement counseling. Work with managers to identify employment-related risks and begin the discovery process of investigations and grievances. Manage several HR functions such as employment, labor relations, compensation, etc. for a business unit or line of business. Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
