Job description: Are you a people-focused HR professional who enjoys recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, and helping build a positive workplace culture? We are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to find an HR professional who will play a key role in supporting employees throughout their entire career journey. Leaders Professional is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for our client in south of Fort Wayne. This role will be a "hands on" role and is a full time permanent position with our client. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact in a fast-paced plant environment while working closely with operations leadership. What You'll Be Doing Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions Manage new hire onboarding and orientation processes Support employee retention initiatives and engagement programs Conduct employee check-ins and help improve the overall team member experience Coordinate FMLA, leave administration, attendance tracking, and unemployment claims Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with company policies Partner with leadership on workforce planning and talent development Assist with training, career development, and employee growth initiatives Track HR metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
