Job Purpose:
- Provide professional HR support on third shift in a heavy manufacturing setting, to include:
- Employee Relations and Engagement;
- Provide accurate and timely data from HRIS;
- Benefits Administration;
- HR Employee Records;
- Provide support for HR policy implementation.

Training:
- Some college required, Bachelors in Human Resources or Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience preferred;
- Professional certification in Human Resources preferred.

Key Job Elements:
- Building and maintaining employee records in accordance with corporate standards;
- Ensuring compliance with local and corporate HR polices and procedures;
- Serve as a point of contact to employees for all HR related topics;
- Process employee payroll;
- Timely submission of forms and documents to corporate HR;
- Process all employee leave paperwork;
- Administer employee benefit plans;
- Conduct candidate interviews and hiring process;
- Process company responses to unemployment claims;
- Interpret and advise employees on company policies;
- Special projects and event planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3-5 years as an HR professional in a heavy manufacturing environment;
- Ability to create and present information to a large group;
- Proven written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience in Kronos and HRIS;
- Attention to detail;
- Knowledge of laws regarding employment law, employee benefits, leave and accommodations;
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing priorities.
