Full Job Description Position Summary:
This individual will perform Human Resources duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: benefits administration, payroll administration, employee relations, training, affirmative action and employment equity & recognition programs.
Essential Functions:
Partners with other Human Resources team members to communicate various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations Backup for the full-cycle of Payroll Assist with benefit open enrollments and help employees with benefit questions Facilitates and/or provides training (including orientation, open enrollment) to the workforce Analyzes data and makes recommendations to the Human Resources team for continuous improvement in employee engagement, benefit administration, etc. Demonstrate commitment by employing the Family Core Values as the basis for all actions Collaborate with employees and management team to attain company goals Contribute to marketing and company branding efforts Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent HR Generalist experienced Background in employment law and other government compliance regulations is preferred Ability to research and analyze various different types of data information Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law Ability to organize and prioritize work Must have demonstrated proficiency in all Microsoft office products; power point, etc.
