Human Resources Professional Human Resources Professional Human Resources Search 2452- Posted August 27, 2026 Emporia State University is seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative, and customer-focused professional to serve as a Human Resources Professional. This position plays a key role in supporting recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employment processes across the university. The successful candidate will partner with departments to attract and hire qualified candidates, provide guidance on policies and employment procedures, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of human resources data and records.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies and job advertisements. Provide guidance on employment policies, procedures, applicable employment laws, and employment-based visa sponsorship processes. Prepare and manage appointments and employment contracts. Process hiring documentation and coordinate onboarding activities for new employees. Support student and graduate assistant employment processes. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of data within human resources systems. Collaborate with campus departments to ensure efficient and compliant employment practices. Deliver high-quality customer service to employees, supervisors, and applicants throughout the employment lifecycle.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
A successful candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in business, human resources, psychology, or a related field. Four years of related experience may be substituted for the educational requirement. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
COMPENSATION
This is an entry-level position; however, consideration will be given to candidates based on their education, experience, skills, and qualifications.
