Silver Linings Senior Living operates two family-owned Home Plus communities serving seniors in Goddard and Andale, Kansas. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care in a home-like environment where residents and staff are treated like family. We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and proactive House Manager to oversee daily operations, staffing coordination, hiring, activities, and resident engagement for both locations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, organization, problem-solving, and building relationships with residents, families, and staff. Schedule Approximately 30 hours per week Monday-Thursday Daytime hours Some flexibility required for staffing and scheduling needs Preferred Qualifications Current Kansas CMA certification preferred CNA applicants with strong management, scheduling, or leadership experience will be considered Previous experience in assisted living, Home Plus, long-term care, healthcare, hospitality, or operations management preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities Experience with staffing and employee management preferred Position ResponsibilitiesStaffing & Scheduling Create and manage schedules for both Silver Linings locations Coordinate and manage employee call-ins Maintain and utilize PRN staff list Assist with shift coverage solutions Track attendance and PTO requests Assist with employee onboarding and orientation scheduling Hiring & Human Resources Post and manage job advertisements Screen applicants Conduct initial interviews Coordinate hiring paperwork Assist with onboarding new employees Maintain employee personnel files Support employee recognition and retention efforts Resident & Family Engagement Coordinate resident birthday celebrations Create social media and Canva birthday posts Conduct resident council meetings Complete weekly meal reviews with residents Coordinate resident activities and special events Communicate with families regarding resident supplies and personal needs Activities & Community Involvement Develop monthly activity calendars Prepare monthly newsletters Coordinate community events and outings Arrange volunteer, pet therapy, and entertainment visits Maintain activity supplies and schedules House Operations Manage grocery ordering and inventory Receive and organize grocery deliveries Ensure homes remain stocked with necessary supplies Maintain emergency binders and resident rosters Conduct monthly fire drills and safety inspections Monitor maintenance and housekeeping needs Organize storage areas, closets, and common spaces Quality Assurance Conduct regular walk-throughs of both homes Review report sheets and operational logs Verify completion of housekeeping, laundry, and shower schedules Support survey readiness efforts What This Position Is NOT Responsible For Clinical concerns are overseen by our Nurse Manager and ownership team.
