Onsite | Direct Hire | Kansas City Metro Our client, an established organization in the Kansas City area, is seeking an HR Generalist to join their Human Resources team. This role will support a variety of day-to-day HR functions with a strong focus on payroll, benefits, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. This position will interact with employees and managers across the organization and will handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Responsibilities Support day-to-day HR operations, including employee records, HRIS updates, and personnel changes Payroll and benefits administration, including employee questions and issue resolution Support benefit-related reporting, audits, and annual processes Assist with workers'compensation, leave, and employee-related claims as needed Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures Support performance management and other employee programs Assist with HR reporting, compliance, and data management Maintain accurate and confidential employee records Support additional HR projects and initiatives as needed Qualifications 5+ years of HR experience Experience with payroll and benefits administration Strong Excel and data management skills Knowledge of HR practices and employment regulations Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality MH456
