Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist with manufacturing or industrial experience on a contract basis in Louisville, Kentucky. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in employee relations, HR administration, and onboarding processes. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to key human resources functions while ensuring compliance and fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Generalist role is onsite, Monday -
Friday:
830 AM - 5 PM. Responsibilities of theHR Generalist:
- Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting an inclusive work environment.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are seamlessly integrated into the organization.
- Administer benefits programs, including enrollment and troubleshooting employee inquiries.
- Maintain and update HRIS systems to ensure accurate and timely data management.
- Support HR compliance by keeping policies aligned with legal standards and organizational goals.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and productivity.
- Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback.
- Prepare reports and analyze HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with managers to implement HR strategies that support business objectives. Requirements
- Proven experience in employee relations, HR administration, and onboarding.
- Familiarity with benefits administration and related processes.
- Familiarity with an HRIS system is required; Paylocity experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, and relevant legal regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
