Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist and Japan Interpreter to join our vibrant team. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend comprehensive human resources management with professional Japanese language interpretation, supporting our global operations and fostering a positive workplace environment. You will be instrumental in managing HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance, while also facilitating effective communication across Japanese and English-speaking teams. Your energetic approach and strategic mindset will drive organizational success and employee engagement. Responsibilities Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates to meet organizational needs. Provide expert interpretation services between Japanese and English during meetings, training sessions, and HR-related communications to ensure clarity and cultural sensitivity. Manage employee orientation programs, performance evaluations, and ongoing training initiatives to promote professional development. Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment, inquiries, and compliance with relevant regulations such as FMLA and workers' compensation policies. Ensure HR legal compliance by staying current with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and affirmative action planning requirements. Support workforce management through HRIS data entry, payroll processing coordination with systems like Kronos or UltiPro, and maintaining confidential personnel records. Facilitate employee relations by addressing concerns promptly, managing conflict resolution processes, and promoting a positive work environment. Assist in project management tasks related to organization design, succession planning, and strategic HR initiatives to optimize human capital management. Experience Proven experience in human resources management or HR department roles with a strong understanding of employment law in talent management. Demonstrated ability to perform Japanese-English interpretation accurately within a corporate setting. Familiarity with HR systems such as Oracle
