In the role of Human Resources Generalist, we'll count on you to: Assist the Area HR Manager and area HR team with a variety of HR-related tasks Use corporate systems to maintain employee records and process personnel actions Coordinate and conduct new hire Onboarding and Offboarding as needed Provide completed employee paperwork to corporate office Review employee queries periodically for accuracy of information Answer basic policy and procedure questions as needed Assist with the coordination of professional development training for staff Provide guidance to human resource assistants Provide guidance to matrix business partners, and employees on Employee Relations matters. Perform other duties as needed Diversity and Inclusion Focus on driving and supporting an inclusive work environment and on integrating diversity and equity into everyday business. Assist with diversity, equity and inclusion functions and positive initiatives. Compensation and Benefits Understand basic HDR benefit plan provisions, in order to assist employees with benefit-related questions and issues and refer more complex questions to Area HR Manager. Recruitment Coordinate interviews as directed by HDR recruiting Administratively track intern recruiting process from start to finish through to hire. •A Valid US Driver's License is Required• Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or related field Willingness and ability to travel between various offices in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas Required Qualifications Minimum three years related experience Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel Excellent verbal and written communication including proofreading, strong client service ability and excellent telephone skills Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail oriented Ability to handle confidential information An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
