MRS Rg 1, 3 Girl Scouts Louisiana East is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and community-minded Membership Recruiting Specialist to help grow Girl Scouting across assigned regions! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, presenting to groups, and connecting girls, families, schools, and volunteers with meaningful opportunities. What You'll Do (Overview) Recruit new girl and adult members through school outreach, community events, presentations, and follow-up. Build relationships with schools, community organizations, faith-based groups, volunteers, and local partners. Coordinate recruitment events, including scheduling, logistics, materials, presentations, activities, and documentation. Identify and cultivate potential adult volunteers to support troops, service units, and community engagement. Track leads, contacts, outreach, and follow-up in Council data systems, including Salesforce or similar CRM tools. Review recruitment results to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Support Council programs, community events, annual meeting delegate identification, and fund development activities as needed. What We're Looking For (Minimum Requirements) Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. At least three years of experience in sales, recruitment, lead generation, marketing, outreach, or a related role. At least three years of customer service or related experience. Strong communication, presentation, organization, and follow-up skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn CRM/data systems such as Salesforce. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate records. Flexibility to work on-site, remotely, and at occasional evening or weekend events. Preferred experience includes nonprofit, youth-serving, education, volunteer, community-service, or Girl Scout experience.
