HR Service Center Representative, Human Resources Category Charles River Campus --> Professional Job Location Boston, MA, United States Tracking Code 26500435950902 Posted Date 9/10/2026 Salary Grade Grade 46 Expected Hiring Range Minimum $48,100.00 Expected Hiring Range Maximum $57,000.00 The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Type Full-Time/Regular The HR Service Center Representative will be a member of a team of highly skilled HR staff focused on providing timely, accurate and responsive services to faculty and staff on matters of onboarding, benefits enrollment and administration, leaves, employment verification, SAP transactions (transfers, changes of schedule, pay changes, etc.), employee records, HR forms and general HR policy information.
Responsibilities include:
Utilizes case and knowledge management systems to ensure integrity of data and optimal customer service. Responds to inquiries via phone and email from faculty and staff on issues related to benefits enrollment and administration, SAP transactions, pay and general HR policy information. Presents overview of benefits as part of New Employee Orientation. Review and approve new hire, open enrollment and all qualifying life events. Responds to general inquiries related to PFML process and benefits. Notify employees on a weekly basis of changes in employment status and impact on benefits eligibility Responsible for conducting weekly and semi-monthly payroll audits. Responsible for the staff/faculty on-boarding processes, to include issuance of BU IDs, I-9 processing, and new employee orientation. Responsible for the maintenance of HR records and compliance with HR recordkeeping regulations and best practice. Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations. Manage other duties and tasks as assigned. Travel between the Charles River and Medical Center campuses is required. Required SkillsB.A./B.S.
degree or equivalent experience, plus three to five years of professional experience in a customer-focused role. Must be highly organized, comfortable using technology, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience in human resources or a related environment is preferred.
