Human Resources Generalist

Robert Half seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist with strong expertise in ADP Workforce Now to join our team. This is a direct hire position that sits on site full-time in Jessup, MD. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and delivering accurate and timely payroll services to employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Process full-cycle, multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce NowMaintain and audit employee payroll records, including earnings, deductions, and tax withholdingsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsReconcile payroll reports, general ledger accounts, and benefit deductionsHandle payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional mannerCollaborate with HR and Finance teams on employee data changes, benefits administration, and reportingPrepare and file payroll tax reports and assist with year-end processes (W-2s, audits, etc.)Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization within ADP Workforce Now
