Job Description

Total Environmental Concepts, Inc., one of the top environmental companies in Maryland, DC and Virginia, has a current full time position for a Human Resource Generalist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing human resources related duties on a professional level and works closely with the TEC's Senior management in supporting its various offices and its subsidiary.
Primary duties of the position:
Weekly payroll processing including applicable certified payroll reporting. Benefits administration. Recruiting, onboarding and other employment changes. Employee relations. Performance management, training and maintenance of licenses/certifications in HRIS. Other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge and Characteristics:
Bachelor's degree and two to three years of HR experience, or five years of experience in the HR field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks, and/or HRIS a plus. Superior communication and listening skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality. Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel on an ongoing basis. Works well in a team setting. Pre-employment drug testing and background check are required. Compensation for this position can range between $25.00 to $28.00 an hour.
