Job Description

Description Position Summary While working as a human resources intern, you will be tasked with assisting the human resources department in whatever capacity necessary. You will be responsible for working with the HR team to help in the recruiting process of candidates, prepare essential recruiting paperwork, and complete other administrative HR tasks. The person in this position assists with performing the operational functions of the department, ensuring that the human resources department can be successful with all tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Contact candidates as advised by your manager Complete regular administrative tasks as they relate to general HR functions and recruiting needs Conduct phone screens to help with the screening process and assess potential next steps for candidates on an as needed basis Schedule interviews for candidates and prepare interview paperwork for the hiring managers Attend hiring fairs and networking events to meet potential candidates Attend weekly staff meetings Assist with moving employee and candidate documentation from existing HRIS to new HRIS Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance Other duties as assigned Nonessential Duties and Responsibilities Work on job assignments in other departments as instructed. Requirements Qualifications Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Human Resources or a related field Solid understanding of computers, data entry, internet searches, the Microsoft Office suite and email applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive attitude Excellent customer service skills Assist with various other tasks as needed in the department This position is unpaid and for college credit and experience only Strategic Factory is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
